This role is responsible for participating in organizational audit projects including financial, operational, compliance, and/or information technology audit programs. Responsibilities • Conducts cross-functional projects spanning controls, compliance, and operational risk and control evaluations. • Executes process and control evaluations for assigned projects, identifying process strengths, improvements, and deficiencies. • Contributes to the planning and coordination of internal audit activities. • Engages with process stakeholders to understand business operations, execute projects, and share insights. Who We’re Looking For • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent), required. Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Internal Audit, Accounting Information Systems, or related field. • R Licensure or certification, preferred. CPA, CIA, or CISA certification, preferred. • 5+ years of related experience, required. Including internal audit, compliance, or accounting experience. • 8+ years of related experience, preferred. • Strong industry knowledge with an understanding of accounting, IT, and operational processes. • Knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Standards for the Professional Practice of internal Auditing and working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Audit Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards including strong command of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements. • Thorough understanding of the financial, operational, strategic and compliance risks which affect company activities with the ability to identify and appropriately dimension those risks, and formulate recommendations which are appropriate, practical, and cost-effective. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with others. • Ability to apply audit principle, skills, and techniques in audit testing of varying degrees of complexity. • Ability to apply internal control concepts in a corporate setting and appropriately assesses risk to the organization and the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing control practices. • Ability to travel less than 5% of the time. • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required. • Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
