Meals on Wheels America is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Management to support the implementation of organizationís strategic technology objectives. This is an incredible opportunity to have impact on the wellbeing of Americaís most vulnerable population during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Data and Technology, the Senior Manager, Data Management will be responsible for executing data and technology projects that support strategies to increase revenue and Member and Supporter engagement at Meals on Wheels America. This position will assess processes and needs across the organization, find synergies to improve current workflows, advance value-add technological initiatives in the organization, and promote the effective use of current systems to their full potential. The Senior Manager will also aid in the search for and implementation of new systems and solutions to meet the growth of the organization and lead the rollout of the organizational reporting platform to enable real-time, self-service learning at all levels. The role is aided by the Data Coordinator, a position which the Senior Manager will directly line manage.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess and guide data architecture needs and planning for Meals on Wheel Americaís future enterprise database to enable robust analysis and reporting.
Create processes to standardize and maintain integrity of data in all systems.
Liaison between internal teams and external partners to keep vendor deliverables and project timelines on track, reporting back to leadership regularly.
Identify opportunities for system architecture improvement, managing the implementation of integrations, customizations, workflows, and automation.
Serve as administrator for Association Management Software (AMS) and ancillary systems.
Understand and document requirements of business needs, analyze gaps in systems, recommend, implement, test and validate solutions.
Understand and implement change management principles as related to data management practices: creating SOPs and training staff on an ongoing basis.
Create department level dashboards, as well as targeted reports including but not limited to campaign performance, house file, donor and Member retention reports, advocacy and overall Supporter and Member engagement reports.
Promote the adoption of organizational reporting, visualization, and mapping tools.
Line-Management of the Data Coordinator position.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelorís degree or five years related work experience required.
Three+ years of managing data projects.
Experience with Excel, SQL querying, and Tableau highly preferred.
Experience with NetForum enterprise preferred but other SQL based charity AMS or CMS systems will be considered.
Critical thinker with strong ability to understand complex problems and scenarios and translate them into technical requirements.
Experience with fundraising and membership data and analysis preferred.
Experience with system administration, implementations, and upgrades preferred.
Experience with organizational reporting tools.
Experience writing complex queries in databases with large, disparate data sets.
Experience with data extraction methods and automating reports.
Experience with people management.
Ability to translate technical lingo into everyday English to users of all levels and backgrounds.

Proven ability to maintain attention to detail.
Ability to build client and stakeholder relationships.
