Manager, Administrative Operations Description: The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Disease has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Manager, Administrative Operations to work on the UHealth Campus. The Manager, Administrative Operations oversees office activities and services including the supervision of office staff to achieve maximum productivity and expense control. Develops procedures and policies for administrative activities, such as records maintenance, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, and other related internal operations. Learn and understand the core clinical, research, academic, teaching, and business functions of the division. Strong knowledge in physician practice management including human resources management, performance management, and clinical/business operations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with credentialing, enrollment, and on-board of clinical faculty and staff. Maintain/update online resources and web pages for the division with the direction of administration to keep current standards. Orders, stocks, and inventories supplies and assists in performing clerical duties. May establish and implement procedures and processes to improve the business operations of the division. Ensures completed work products meet required timelines and standards of quality and quantity. Performs complex assignments and resolves issues and problems referred by staff or supervisor. Assist administration with the day-to-day calendar updates, meeting arrangements, CV updates and other needs as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations. Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others Knowledge of business and management principles.
