In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Apply Wells Fargo Digital Banking coding practices to test-drive the creation of micro-services with Java, JEE, JUnit, Spring, Restful services.
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
Maintain broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborate with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for Wells Fargo.
Work closely with application teams, infrastructure and application teams to maintain applications that are secure and highly scalable/available.
Plan, execute, and maintain road-map in alignment with Enterprise Security standards and in accordance to established business SLA's.
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of JavaEE experience
4 + years of Java Web Services experience
4 + years of experience with business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools
2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
2+ years of MQ Series Messaging experience
Desired Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree or higher
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
4+ years of Agile experience
4+ years relational database management system (RDBMS) experience
3+ years of banking industry experience
1+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Worked with Open API 3.0, JSON schema
Experience in managing off property Application Programming Interface (API) orchestration and integration
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
