Overview

The Emerging Markets Structuring team is looking to hire a Spanish-speaking professional in New York with extensive experience structuring, pricing, and executing derivatives particularly interest rate and FX derivatives. The desk works closely with corporate coverage, as well as directly with clients, to deliver bespoke derivative solutions spanning a wide range of products (e.g. cross-currency swaps, swaptions, FX options, deal contingent hedges, etc.). You will have a mathematical, engineering, and/or coding background, and will be able to explain technical and complex problems and solutions to a lay audience. Exposure to emerging markets is beneficial but not required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate, market, and drive rates transactions in the US

  • Lead negotiations with external clients including corporates, hedge funds and financial institutions

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in derivative pricing, including market regulations and documentation

  • Fluency in both written and spoken Spanish

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients

  • A strong growth mindset, with experience originating business and expanding an existing client base

How You’ll Lead:

  • Mentor and interact with junior members of the team by educating and supporting key stakeholders across the Business

  • Use your professionalism and business acumen to assist more junior members of the team to gain a deeper understanding of derivatives products, helping to strengthen the overall potential of the team
