Job Description
Student Success Coordinator
This position resides within the Center for Academic Success, whose mission is to support and promote, through multiple avenues, our studentsí academic success. The successful candidate will uphold this mission by developing and implementing numerous support strategies for our students. This position reports to the Director of the Center for Academic Success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work with students, individually and in groups, to develop specific skills to advance their academic progress.
Supervise various iterations of GSSM study time (QUEST).
Assist with fall junior seminar on academic success.
Assist with the development and implementation of summer academic support program.
Develop programs that support studentsí academic success;
Work with Athletic Department staff to assist student-athletes.
Support faculty by occasionally proctoring exams and standardized tests.
Communicate with parents as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
This position is a full-time (10-month) professional position with full benefits.
Possibility of supplemental pay for summer assistance
A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is required for consideration, with a major in Education or a STEM field preferred.
Teaching and/or work experience in education is preferred.
Experience as a tutor, coach or assistant in Athletics, Residence, Student Life or Academic Support, or community organization could be helpful.
Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills required.
A desire to work with and help teens expected.
