Assistant to Vice President|
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced administrative assistant and office manager to provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the Marketing and Communications Division. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail. This person must be able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects, work well under pressure to meet deadlines, exhibit sound judgment in making decisions, and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Produce reports and presentations
Process invoices from vendors
Support the budgeting process and manage budget-to-actual
Complete and process staff expense reports
Manage databases and lists
Purchase marketing materials and collateral
Schedule meetings and provide and meeting support
Gather information from internal and external stakeholders for projects
Provide back‐up support for co‐workers as needed
Mastery level of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Mastery level of Salesforce strongly preferred
Flexible and able to handle competing priorities
Producer of professional correspondence free of grammatical and spelling errors
Promptly responds to requests with accuracy and efficiency
Demonstrates advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills
Resourceful, strategic problem-solving ability
Post-secondary education in business administration or related fields is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required. Salary minimum: $45,000.
