The Role: As an Art Director, you should be an experienced self-starter who can hit the ground running on day one. You have an extremely strong eye for detail and conceptual thinking as well as adherence to brand and accessibility standards. You won’t just be a designer, but a problem solver who will work with various team members and brand leads from across the organization to not only create beautiful, but effective designs that can change and grow with our brands, customers and prospects. Reports To: Senior Art Director (ACD/CD) What You’ll Do: Design for multiple brands with unique personas, while maintaining a user-first mindset. Work with the creative team to maintain quality, brand and accessibility standards and inclusive representation across all CM Group brands. Brainstorm, conceptualize and produce unique solutions to complex problems. Work across platforms and media to provide our users with what they need, where and when they need it. This includes but is not limited to web, ad, video, print, event and social design. Commit to learning, exploring and growing as a designer and as a cross-functional partner. Work in a fast-paced, iterative environment based in research, data and functioning on a hypothesis-based model of problem solving. What You’ll Need: 4-5+ years experience as a graphic designer/art director (preferably working in an agency setting or on an internal team working for multiple brands/clients) Experience ideating and collaborating with copywriters, developers and marketing directors. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present, defend and compromise on work with cross-functional stakeholders. A positive attitude Mastery of design principles (hierarchy, type, color and layout) Strong attention to detail. Mastery of primary Adobe CC programs (PS, AI, ID) Animation experience is a plus (AE, PR, C4D, Blender…) Competence in Sketch, Figma, and Invision Experience building, utilizing and maintaining design systems Experienced and comfortable working within a creative, but structured environment (adherence to naming conventions, file structures, and handoff protocol is essential to keeping our team running) Contact Information
