Senior Software Engineer – Front End

Our iPaaS team is actively looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer – Front End. In this role, you will be building Five9’s next generation, cutting-edge contact center platform. The primary focus will be on integrating multiple disparate technologies into unified automations. An ideal candidate for us is an experienced engineer who is passionate about building high performance web platforms and applications, a brilliant problem solver and a creative self-starter. As a member of the team you will take end-to-end ownership of a solution to deliver services enriching our Contact Center platform and applications. This role is more inclined to Front-end.

Key Responsibilities:
Be part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available application platform
Participate and contribute to requirements analysis and grooming
Understand performance and scalability principles and apply when developing software
Web App development in modern Front End stack
Document and communicate clearly architecture and implementation solutions
Work closely with product managers, testers and application architects
Troubleshoot and support current platform in production

Key Skills:
5+ years software development experience
Strong Computer Science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis
Ability to design scalable systems
Experience working with REST/GraphQL interfaces
Must be highly proficient in JavaScript/ES6+/TypeScript
Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript) and web standards (HTML5)
Familiarity with client-side JavaScript Toolkits or frameworks such as React/Redux
Must have experience working within an Agile/Scrum team
Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a strong-sense of ownership
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience with building graph-based interfaces and D3 is a plus!
