Malik Armstrong returns home from prison and is immediately faced with opposition when he has a physical confrontation with his mother’s, live-in boyfriend. Living at home is no longer an option if Malik is going to stay out of trouble, so he turns to his ex-girlfriend, Teiana, for temporary shelter. Their friendship that was formed long before they dated, encourages Teiana to be there with open arms. Malik appears to be headed in the right direction, until Teiana discovers **** in her house. Now with his only ally ready to call it quits, Malik has an encounter with a little boy, JONAH, who is wise beyond his years. Jonah is the perfect example of the scripture that reads, “Yea, have ye never read, “Out of the mouth of **** and suckling’s Thou hast perfected praise’.
