Another NFL Star, Michael Thomas, Steps Up to Support HBCUs!
Posted By: Will Moss on October 13, 2020 Texans safety Michael Thomas is auctioning off game-worn jerseys to benefit his scholarship fund for historically Black colleges and universities. That includes jerseys worn by himself, defensive end J.J. Watt, quarterback Deshaun Watson and outside linebackers Whitney Mercilus and Jacob Martin as well as a ball that linebacker Tyrell Adams recovered on a fumble in Sunday's win over Jacksonville.
The program is called Victory Mondays, a player-led fundraising platform founded by Thomas. Fans can bid on the items at victorymondays.net through Oct. 20 at noon. If you enjoyed this article, Join HBCU CONNECT today for similar content and opportunities via email! |
