As part of this role, you will assemble and align various components for our scanners.

What we trust you with!

Follow written procedures and perform all steps required to assemble Aperio ScanScopes and related products.

Tasks include:

• Mechanical Assembly

• Routing of cable and harness assemblies

• Building, testing, aligning of optical sub-assemblies

• Visual and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies.

• Load ScanScope controller with required software.

• Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve cause of system failures during assembly

• Suggest updates to procedures as needed

• Identify accurate focus of optical assemblies viewing through eyepiece or on computer monitor.

Your knowledge and skills that matter most for this job:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read and understand written procedures

• Ability to use advanced PC software tools required to perform alignment operations.

• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience

• Preferred 1+ years assembly experience in an electro mechanical production environment.

• Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and GMP guidelines
