Job Description
Engineer Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of this position is to drive development and continuous improvements in the Engineering group. The Process Engineer develops improvements oriented at improving quality, reliability and lower total costs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement technologies, methods and techniques.
  • Provides support for quality system improvement projects.
  • Conducts root cause and corrective action investigations for quality failures, including those occurring in supplier and in-house processes.
  • Prepares and conducts training sessions and presentations as required to complete the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintains a professional working relationship with internal customers and support staff.
  • Coordinate the implementation of changes.
  • Designs jigs, guards, and fixtures to aid associates.
  • Provide consultation to other teams.
  • Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods and techniques.
  • Supports Kaizen events and sustain results
