IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

• Maintain organized housekeeping of all goods and storage areas. Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Report operational problems, breakdown of equipment and any safety hazards to supervisory personnel.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of 99% or higher. Maintain a high level of quality during the shipping/packaging/kitting process and ensure that all products are properly packaged to reduce potential damage in transit.
• Ship and record information onto the picker, into the database, and other documents as required.
• Use the electronic shipping system to calculate shipping rates.
• Answer questions regarding shipping, of parts and products on orders while providing efficient, and professional courtesy to all customers.
• Package instruments and materials per Engineering drawings and meeting the required MO finish date.
• Adhere to all work instructions and notify supervisory personnel when out of date.

In addition to shipping responsibilities, this position will also entail a significant amount of Receiving and general stockroom duties.

YOU WILL HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in shipping department environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Attention to details and accurate counting abilities.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds regularly, and up to 70lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk 100% of the day.
• Meet corporate requirements for fork-lift license after 90 days.
