Senior IT Business Analyst - Supply Chain

What Will You Be A Part Of?

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) IT Team, the Viral Vector Services (VVS) IT Team coordinates with Group/Division IT and IT Shared Services to provide all IT services to the VVS Business Team, including the overall IT architecture and governance, application services, infrastructure services, process improvement and automation, and related training to the VVS user community to enable VVS to achieve our strategic goals.

What Will You Be A Part Of?

  • Reporting to the Supply Chain Solution Architect, the Senior IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain gathers requirements from the business, articulate on what the business needs, translate that into comprehensive functional/technical design, and coordinates with Group/Division IT and/or IT Shared Services Team to deliver the solution.
  • Work with business and IT through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), i.e., requirement/gap analysis, design process mapping, testing script development and testing, deployment, postproduction support
  • Collecting and understanding the business overall goals, requirements and objectives, assisting in the prioritization of business technology projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and linking IT strategy in support of the overall business/service line strategy
  • Serve as the liaison between the business, Group/Division IT, and IT Shared Services for the technology need and act as an advocate for the business
  • Works with business area end users to build out knowledge of SAP best practices in the end user community.
  • Identifies innovative technical and process solutions that drive the desired performance in cost, quality, compliance, customer service and revenue
  • Ensures that teams are adhering and supporting quality procedures and policies
  • Assist in IT architecture, strategy and roadmap planning
  • Plan, organize, and execute on various focus groups and initiatives to drive process improvements across the organization
  • Generate and implement ideas for improving IT operations and organization
  • Uphold and implement best practices and drive practical process improvement (PPI)
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain business processes

How Will You Get Here?

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4 in the following areas: Procurement, process manufacturing, warehouse management, and materials planning.
  • More than 5 years business analysis experience in Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences industry
  • More than 5 years experience performing Application and infrastructure management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships with our business and IT partners
  • Superior customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical
  • Strong organizational change management capability
  • Skills in developing KPIs/OKRs, and reports in Excel or BI Tools (PowerBI, etc.)
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple requirements with a variety of projects and short timelines
  • Ability to travel moderately (10-15%)
