As a Sr Software Engineer Applied AI, you will be responsible for integrating AI algorithms to create new capabilities and workflows for digital pathology. You will work with a diverse and talented multi-functional team to develop software solutions for an emerging clinical market through the entire product development life cycle.

Major Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a scrum team to design, implement and test platform services to support AI driven ePathology applications.
• Contribute to efforts around modernize existing development infrastructure to improve continuous integration and deployment capabilities
• Support the effort to identify and mitigate cyber security, design, and safety risks
• Actively contribute to product development through entire SDLC in a regulated environment
• Design and build high performant services to support web applications in both cloud and on prem clinical infrastructure
• Support automated verification and validation activities per a tightly controlled quality system.
• Contribute to sections of Design Documentation and collaborate, present, and defend design decisions in critical design reviews.
• Document Design Controls required to support clinical software, including requirements, design, and risk assessments

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• 4-year engineering degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years software development experience with enterprise web software in .net
• 2+ years of experience with both SQL/NoSQL development (or equivalent)
• 2+ years of experience creating automated unit tests using MS Test and MOQ (or equivalent)
• Functional knowledge of both on-prem and cloud native design utilizing microservices
• Experience in software development with messaging queue/bus/broker systems (RabbitMQ)
• Experience implementing secure services to accommodate industry standards in data protection and privacy
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and automation

Desired Experiene & Skills

• Healthcare industry experience in regulated Diagnostics, SaMD, or Pharmaceutical environment
• Familiar working with medical imaging
• Experience configuring and managing secure and HIPPA compliant storage
• Industry experience managing data for production grade enterprise software
• Experience with containers and IAC
• Experience with designing high performant services for edge computing
• Experience with serverless frameworks and monitoring
