As the Service Manager, Collaboration & Events you will be responsible for driving the planning, implementing and support of our organization's collaboration, communication and event services.


    • Owns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for collaboration and productivity platforms. (Google Workspaces, Zoom, Slack)
    • Oversees governance and project management activities for the productivity and collaboration product line to ensure user adoption, while simultaneously providing standardization necessary for security, compliance
    • Provide oversight and serve as the escalation point and point of contact for all high level Event Production, Multimedia, and AV engineering matters
    • Serves as a subject matter expert and interacts with employees, senior management, and vendor partners
    • Collaborate with Procurement as well as Engineering teams to insure license and budget compliance
    • Define key metrics and KPIs to track efficient and effective utilization of end user productivity, communication and collaboration tools and services
    • Help employees choose the most appropriate application for the task at hand and minimize overlap between applications to prioritize for maximum impact
    • Change Management – Demonstrates support for innovation and for organizational changes needed to improve the organization's effectiveness; facilitates the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace.
    • Attracts & Manages top talent – Attracts, selects, and motivates best talent to meet current and future needs of the organization. Builds a high performing team.


    • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 3+ years of directly managing people.
    • Exceptional, demonstrated operational management capabilities with experience delivering against key performance targets and goals
    • Must possess strong end user expertise across various platforms and technologies like Remote Access, Mobility, Communication/Collaboration (UCC) solutions including Cloud based productivity applications like Google WorkSpaces, O365, OneDrive, Zoom, Slack.
    • High level knowledge and understanding of Corporate IT security hardening tools enabling priority working and alignment with the security team
    • Understanding of reporting and SLA’s, improvement and trending leading to automation where possible
    • Must have a high level of user understanding of the importance of user access securely during working hours
    • Instant responses to any P1 issues and drive to fix ASAP
    • High level understanding of future IT tools to improve and meet the strategy of enterprise wide tools and automation where possible
    • Creative in ideas thinking of consolidation and types of support services. A drive to reduce the number of different IT processes and drive standardization through the tools
