This Associate Brand Manager will manage the day-to-day brand strategy and portfolio management to help drive growth for the US, with a primary focus an OTC Brand/products. Specifically, the Associate Brand Manager, will:
With the Senior Brand Manager, support the brand strategy, planning, and execution of brand/product plans with a digital first approach to help driving short and long-term sustainable growth, while building strong brand equities.
Understands and advocates for consumer needs and preferences. Proactively looks for opportunities to expand brand passion and improve consumers experiences with the Brand to deliver brand growth goals.
Monitor competitive market dynamics to inform development of, &/or changes required to, marketing plans. Partner with Market Insights & Research, category/sales analytics partners to develop learning plans and assessment of marketing plans (define KPI's, assess against goals, implement optimizations)
Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current environment and industry trends, oversee category and competitive analysis, stay abreast of latest competitive activities and sales
Create holistic digital first plans for brand communications to develop and distribute content successfully during moments that matter across multiple channels, including linking to omni-channel shopper & retail activation.
Partner with Customer Strategy teams to develop omi-channel retail strategy and plans tied to brand strategy and business objectives.
Manage brand budget and analytics to help deliver brand P&L goals.
Have close partnership with innovation teams to influence innovation pipeline with consumer insights and marketplace knowledge.
Maintain quality and compliance through timely training, strict compliance with procedures, exercising the highest integrity, embracing employee involvement and commitment to doing the right job the first time
A BA/BS in Marketing or a related business field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of professional commercial experience is required.
Previous CPG experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of digital/online brand strategies is strongly preferred.
A passion for digital & social activation, demonstrating strong intuition for business, attention to detail and focus on results.
Knowledge of OTC categories and products preferred.
Passion for building brands & proven track record to develop brand & marketing strategies.
Someone who is highly creative with the ability to think out of the box.
Up to date with latest trends & marketing standard methodologies.
Comfortable working with numbers, metrics & spreadsheet.
Works well independently while possessing strong leadership & communication skills and a demonstrated history of building collaborative, lasting relationships that deliver business results

Ability to work well on a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities successfully.
