Senior Business Product Owner

Position Summary

The SAP / MAXIMO Senior Business Product Owner will join the Business System Operations team, with the primary responsibility of process standardization, works across the sites to implement strategies and harmonize tasks in SAP / MAXIMO. In addition, engage with key stakeholders in analyzing business operations to provide sustainability solutions for our business. The SAP / MAXIMO Business Process Owner will also partner with other systems operation professionals for assessing business impact for future systems enhancements and identification of opportunities.

 

The SBPO must have the ability to identify gaps in the AS IS and TO BE processes and constantly balance the business needs with the system capabilities. Success in this role will require strong change leadership skills to get consensus from both management and end users to adopt process and system change.

 

This position requires an active decision maker. Given any environment, scenario, and situation, their responsibility is to make decisions taking into account the organization's best interests, the comfort of the users, and the viability of executing the decision. In addition, the position will provide production support in Plant Logistic, Manufacturing Execution and Preventive Maintenance / Calibration.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Standardize processes across all business domains
  • Educate business team members on standard methodologies employed globally within the industry
  • Harmonization among all business units
  • Documenting details of AS IS business processes and traits of the trade
  • Maintaining awareness of super users' expectations
  • Approving TO BE business processes in alignment with the Company's environment, requirements, and processes
  • Monitoring the performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of core business processes
  • Identifying, documenting, and testing new scenarios

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Data Sciences and SQL are desired.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
  • Experience in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment is required. 
  • Knowledgeable, pharmaceutical industry applicable regulations are required. 
  • A broad understanding of the pharmaceutical drug product operating functions of logistics, supply chain and compliance is preferred. 
  • Project management experience with impact to a manufacturing functional group is preferred. 
  • A track record in working within a Data-Driven environment is preferred. 
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Team) is required.
  • Experience SAP / MAXIMO is preferred. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of the Company and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse global company
  • Quickly assess the operational efficiency of a functional group or facility and prioritize improvement processes.
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures

  • This position requires responding to emergency calls and supporting other departments or projects according to business needs.
