Senior Supply Planner

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product continuity of supply for all materials that fall under their assigned portfolio of products. This portfolio can include the following types of materials: finished goods, work in process (WIP) bulk, raw materials (including API), and packaging components. You will also collaborate closely with the manufacturing sites by monitoring available capacity, monitoring and managing component availability to ensure supply plans can be fulfilled, and actively mitigating and resolving any product supply and/or customer service issues. You will also manage inventory levels and the deployment of finished goods according to customer demands and company objectives.


Additional responsibilities:
•    Advising management and appropriate internal teams of the current and future status of product supply for existing products, as well as for future launches.
•    Developing capacity-feasible supply plans and providing them to the manufacturing locations on a prescribed schedule.
•    Collaborating with assigned sites and EM site leads to develop short-term production schedules by taking into consideration site constraints, customer service and inventory targets.
•    Coordinating issue resolution for deviations that may occur.
•    Being accountable for the following metrics: Unit Fill Rate (UFR), Supply Attainment and Purchase Order On-Time in Full (OTIF).
•    Managing and coordinating component and labeling changes.
•    Executing planning scenarios in support of meeting customer service and/or inventory targets with a focus on minimizing inventory, as appropriate.
•    Providing accountability for inventory projections/modeling to meet target inventory levels.
•    Understanding key drivers of inventory, and seek to reduce overall inventory value while maintaining product supply.
•    Dis-positioning E&O materials promptly to minimize inventory levels. (Including FG, WIP, API, packaging components)
•    Monitoring component, WIP, and API availability at assigned sites in order to support upcoming production schedules in addition to ensuring that inventory targets are met and that inventory is appropriately managed to avoid obsolescence.
•    Ensuring that supply plans are developed (and communicating to the appropriate site) which are achievable, aligning to timeline and results, supporting meeting launch inventory targets, and are inclusive of any promotional activities.
•    Participating in the S&OP process related to the supply and operating plans. Leading supply related meetings to communicate output and results of monthly supply and inventory planning activities.
•    Supporting master data setup in SAP/APO including, but not limited to, the following master data elements: material/product masters and BOM’s. Ensure data accuracy for planning values, shutdown, changeover, project work for those sites where McNeil RCCP planning tools are utilized.
•    Collaborating with project managers and/or appropriate personnel to ensure the SAP/cMAT material set up of all new codes for proper system planning, the ability to cut POs and reporting and releasing capabilities.
•    Ensuring that planning landmarks and results related to master data are communicated to the project teams and raising to appropriate personnel when deviations occur.
 


Qualifications

•    A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. A focused degree in business, supply chain, or engineering is preferred.
•    A minimum of four (4) years of professional business experience is required, preferably in one or more of the following areas: Production Planning, Supply Chain Systems, Purchasing, Distribution, Manufacturing, and/or Transportation.
•    Familiarity with (local) regulations, GMP, and/or ISO requirements is preferred.
•    Advanced SAP or other ERP systems knowledge and Tableau experience is preferred 
•    Sophisticated knowledge of Excel (v-Lookups, Pivot tables, etc.) is required
•    Six Sigma and APICS certification is preferred.
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
•    Successful leadership, planning management expertise, and critical thinking is preferred
•    Ability to demonstrate initiative and lateral thinking to problem solve/troubleshoot is required
•    Experience demonstrating strong cross-functional business insight and ability to influence is preferred
•    Strong decision-making and communication skills are required
•    May require up to 10% of domestic travel
