Execution Systems (ES) Engineer

Project leadership • Project leadership of ES projects, including obtaining agreement on project definitions and priorities and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place. • Acts as project leader/core team members by tracking cost, quality and schedule ensuring an effective management of project execution • Ensures programs stay on plan by resolving resource conflicts and removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations at a senior level within the business and Execution Systems center of excellence. • Establishes effective working relationships with Quality, IT, Lab Systems, Procurement and others as well as develops new partnerships to optimize processes. • Ensures sound technical engineering concepts are applied in all tasks. • Develop a mechanism to proactively assess business needs and to identify points of use across functional groups in the Platform.
Technical responsibilities The position is responsible for support of the automation systems, configuration of interfaces, ensuring compliance with global standards, writing and executing validation protocols, participation in compliance inspections, holding and supporting risk assessments, and supporting investigations.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology is required. • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in automation or IT is required. • Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations is preferred. • Knowledge of Process Excellence tools (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred. • Green or Black Belt Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is preferred • Ability to assess and mitigate technical risks is required • Familiarity with IT application design and deployment is preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required • Strong decision making and problem solving skills are required • Must be able to think strategically and lead change • Collaborate effectively with all levels of management and have strong business augment is required • This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
