Senior Financial Analyst WW FP&A, Medical Devices

Johnson & Johnson, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst – Worldwide FP&A, Medical Devices to be located in New Brunswick, NJ. The Senior Finance Analyst reports to the Senior Finance Manager, Medical Devices, FP&A.

The Medical Devices Worldwide FP&A team belongs to the Corporate Controller’s Group and is responsible for supporting the Medical Devices (MD) Group in delivering their financial commitments, for driving the compliant reporting of actual and forecast financials, for ensuring a fair, independent, and accurate view of business performance and for providing insights and analytics that drive the optimal allocation of resources.

Role description:

Based in New Brunswick, this role reports to the Senior Manager Medical Devices FP&A and its key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Consolidating MD reported financial data using the corporate reporting system (BRAVO), COGNOS, and TM1;
  • Partnering with MD Group Finance and Operating Companies on framing, analyzing, and consolidating/reporting of worldwide results to group CFO, GOC, and EC;
  • Ensuring reasonableness and accuracy of financial data reported to Corporate through BRAVO and managing the coordination and documentation of quarterly SOX controls;
  • Maintain the One MD weekly & monthly Tableau Sales Dashboards;
  • Support the Value Creation assessment to help drive strategic business decisions and further the long-term health of the organization;
  • Preparing, analyzing, and publishing financial reporting packages for the MD Group including monthly/quarterly financial results, all forecast updates, EC/MC meetings decks/analyses and financial scorecards;
  • Addressing ad-hoc requests & projects

This position provides an outstanding opportunity for the self-starter to get involved in strategic projects with exposure to the VP of WW FP&A and to the Group CFOs. This role is part of a dynamic team that interacts frequently with Group Finance, local FP&A organizations, WW Consolidations, IR, Treasury and WWP.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance;
  • A CPA, CMA, or MBA are also preferred;
  • A minimum of three (3) years finance or related business experience is required;
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong intellectual curiosity, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
  • The individual must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization, have excellent framing skills (verbal/written), and strive for continuous improvement;
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic environment, work independently and balance tasks with a strong sense of urgency through effective prioritization is required;
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of analytics software preferred (i.e. Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx, etc...);
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions);
  • The ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to various levels of the organization, including leadership, is required;
  • The role will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 5% travel
