Lead Salesforce Developer

Johnson & Johnson – Technology Services – is looking to hire a Lead SFDC Developer to work in the Commercial Technology and Global R&D Platforms organization. The position is based in Tampa, Florida.

You will be asked to help create solutions and solve critical business needs that involve a variety of technologies and methodologies: Salesforce.com Development, Full Stack Development, API Management, Test Automation, DevOps, Agile SCRUM, Reliability & Security…


You will report to the Salesforce Development Manager, who is based in Tampa.



  • Implement appropriate technology solutions to business partners and guide development teams in how to best implement solutions.
  • Act as a mentor for junior developers.
  • Recommend improvements in assigned platforms.
  • Hands on software development.
  • Collaborate with many different types of people who request our technology expertise and influence.

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or transcripts demonstrating near completion is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience is required.
  • Experience leading agile software development teams is required.
  • A successful track record in delivering software products for large-scale projects is required.
  • Experience with architecting, developing, and launching applications that include web, mobile, API, and back-end connectivity is required.
  • Experience with source code management using Git is required.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, especially JIRA, is required.
  • Experience in programming Apex, SFDC declarative build, and/or Salesforce certifications is required.
  • A deep knowledge of object-oriented programming is preferred.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and tools migration for projects on various platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, TravisCI, or others is required.
  • Experience with GxP software development is preferred.
  • Experience with HIPAA compliance in software development is preferred.
  • Hands on experience in networking, databases, and cloud systems is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge in various scripting languages and system & server administration is preferred.
  • Experience with architecting, integrating, and testing applications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform environments, leveraging cloud services, is preferred.
  • The ability to create, develop, and deploy containers to support client applications is preferred.
  • This position is located in Tampa, FL.
