The Laboratory Automation business supplies industry leading workflow solutions through robotic automation, predominantly for the Pharma, Biopharma and the Genetic testing space. Job Title: Manager, Partner & OEM Business Reporting to: Sr. Manager, Global Sales Laboratory Automation Location: US Position summary: You will provide functional leadership and strategic business direction as the Partner and OEM Business lead for the Laboratory Automation business unit within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). The business comprises customers, activities, employees and partners located across the world.
Your major responsibilities include:
Managing and directing a team of sales professionals in Americas and EMEA. This position is responsible for developing and effectively executing our Partner & OEM strategies to increase sales for all products part of the Partner & OEM sales channel.
The role will be responsible for creating and defines business plans, shapes strategies and initiatives that set direction for our Americas and EMEA Partner and OEM business, with a clear focus on customer
You will be responsible on executing on our Sales Process from prospect identification to customer contract closing
A key part is identifying new prospects and customers in addition to growing business in existing accounts as well as nurturing partnership-based relationships to deliver a smooth process and experience from pre- to post-sale
You will be working actively with Sales Management on developing territory plans with opportunity maps, target and key accounts, sales strategies, tactics and resource requirements
The role will be responsible for providing regular and realistic sales forecasts, maintaining opportunity statuses and developments in our CRM (Salesforce) for our Partner & OEM Business.
You possess the ability to quickly grasp the business objectives and strategies of the business unit and thrive working in a truly global organization. You are furthermore capable of continuing to grow and strengthen our talent base and contribute to the overall strengthening of our culture and customer focus.

Strategic skills: Develops sales plans for current and new products for the Partner & OEM Business while keeping an eye on new market developments. MS degree in related Science or Business based disciplines
Additional MBA/other financial degree preferred
More than 10 years of related commercial business management experience at country and regional level with several years of accountability for commercial performance (Bookings, Revenues, OPEX, DSO, Cash Flow)
Comfortable to work and manage within heavily matrixed environment with the ability to inspire, influence and lead others
Expert in understanding of Commercial Excellence and Business
Ability to translate strategic plans into successful actions
Good understanding of Operations, Finance and Applications, via early career experiences or joint projects
Familiarity with commercial sales and marketing tools to capture and understand the market preferred
Familiar with sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes, with high level of accuracy
Success in building mutual growth path with other Business Units and Service
