The WIM Banking, Lending &Trust (BL&T) Control team has an opportunity for a Governance, Reporting and Programs Control Director supporting this center of excellence. Â A strong knowledge of metrics development and analysis, governance protocols and enterprise risk programs combined with process experience and relationship skills are key to the success of this role.
Major Responsibilities: - Monitors, measures, evaluates, and reports on the impact of decisions and controls to BL&T business partners and enterprise functions. - In partnership with control business groups, provides strategic leadership to identify, manage, and mitigate risk. - Partners with business control teams to drive improvement efforts to correct or prevent unfavorable trends and assesses impacts. - Monitors and evaluates emerging risk, operational trends, and external risk events for potential impact to control. - Oversees programs or initiatives related to BL&T and/or an Enterprise strategy with considerable impact across the Enterprise and externally - Manages a team of Analysts, Senior Officers, Officers and Associates in accomplishing group strategic priorities. - Drives a risk culture; influence the self-identification of issues and control gaps within the business - Contributes and provides direction towards the development of procedures, guidelines and governance programs such as new business initiatives, product change, regulatory change and/or enterprise policy change.

10+ years of experience in risk management or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 7+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with Wells Fargo Risk Framework as well as risk and control programs including Issue Management, Business Process Management and Enterprise Risk Identification & Assessment.
Experience with measuring controls.
Significant experience with data, analysis, and metrics reporting.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives concurrently.Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
