**Role Summary** The Digital Medical Client Partner will be responsible for stewarding the digital strategy and portfolio for Pfizer's Worldwide Medical (WM) business line to advance Pfizer's Bold Moves and Patient-First strategy. Working in close partnership with key leaders and stakeholders across the WM and Digital organizations, the Medical Client Partner will provide thought leadership on how to leverage state-of-the-art digital, data and analytic tools and technologies to ensure that patients, physicians and regulatory agencies are provided with accurate and timely information on the safe, effective and appropriate use of Pfizer's medications; identify opportunities to create value, remove friction, and drive superior user experiences through digital means; serve as the primary point of contact for WM on all digital and technology matters; interface with the R&D Creation Center and other parts of the Digital organization to ensure that digital solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and on value; and serve as an advocate for WM in various corporate fora to ensure the appropriate level of funding and support for key WM initiatives.

**Role Responsibilities**

+ Drive and maintain the digital strategy, portfolio and product roadmap for the WM organization in partnership with key business and technology stakeholders

+ Drive strategic engagement with the Chief Medical Officer and WM leadership and represent Digital on their leadership teams

+ Act as the main Digital point of contact for the different Medical teams, advising on digital, data and analytic topics, emerging technologies and internal digital capabilities

+ Lead governance to prioritize and manage all digital demand for WM

+ Lead cost/benefit business case creation with business sponsors and input from appropriate Digital groups to meet WM's needs and priorities

+ Drive business analysis and product design activities to convert user requirements into elegant, workable products

+ Partner with the Digital delivery teams and other Digital functions to identify technology solutions, seek project endorsement, ensure adequate resourcing, and oversee project planning, execution, delivery and support

+ Ensure timely, accurate and transparent financial tracking

**Qualifications** Must-Have

+ Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, life sciences or a related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD) preferred

+ 10+ years of experience in setting IT and/or software product strategy in a life sciences or healthcare setting

+ Experience leading the implementation and delivery of complex IT solutions and working with scientific and/or medical systems and data

+ Strong customer relationship management skills and experience interacting with senior R&D leaders, business sponsors, stakeholders, and SMEs

+ Ability to lead, inspire, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional scientific and technical teams

+ Organizational savvy and agility, ability to understand organizational structures, dynamics, policies, procedures, processes, roles and responsibilities across business and IT groups, and to skillfully navigate through organizational complexity to get the work done

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong project and portfolio management and business planning skills

+ Deep empathy for the end user and a passion for the user experience

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Nice-to-Have

+ Experience in developing and implementing large software and data systems for the life sciences

+ Experience in agile software development and knowledge of modern programming languages and development environments

+ Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies for both transactional and decision support applications (normalized transactional databases, data lakes and data warehouses)

+ Experience mining and visualizing complex scientific, clinical and/or healthcare data at scale

+ Experience in data science, machine learning and AI

+ Experience in software product management

+ Experience with computer systems validation and delivering solutions to GxP requirements
