We are looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated professional who is interested to work with the friendly development team within the Payments, Treasury products and Customer care Technology (PTCT) group, as part of the CCIBT technology organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong experience on various Mainframe Technologies. This Software Engineer position requires knowledge and understanding of application life-cycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support.

Key Responsibilities include -

  • Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.
  • Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to team members.
  • Develops original and/or works on complex code changes or provides coding guidance.
  • Leads the migration of programs to production.
  • Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
  • Provide direction or guidance to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of Cobol experience
  • 5+ years of CICS experience
  • 2+ years of Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) experience

Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of mainframe experience
  • 5+ years of MQ Series Messaging experience
  • Endevor experience
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo's Remedy Asset Management (PAC2000) application
  • Network Data Mover (NDM) experience
  • Experience designing, developing, and implemeting large scale, complex software applications
  • Financial industry experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience on mainframe  SAS, Easytrieve, JCL, IBM Utilities
  • Experience with CA7
  • Prior Wells Fargo experience
