This newly created Executive Leadership role will report directly to the Head of Recovery and Claims, who is based in Charlotte, NC and will lead a geographically dispersed team of approximately 700-800 team members located across the country as well as one international site.

This Executive will lead all credit card claims functions within the Fraud and Claims Management team, which provides assistance to customers through the review and decisioning of claims filed across VISA, MasterCard and American Express products and provides updates/status on claims in progress.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effectiveness in building high performing teams focused on driving business results through leadership effectiveness and team member engagement. This individual will contribute to broad PVSI and Operations strategies with a One Wells Fargo lens by living the vision and values of Wells Fargo.

This role requires a leader with strong transformational leadership, relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills.  A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: fraud, investigations of fraud claim transactions or policy violations, risk management, or compliance
  • 5+ years of management experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Proven ability to lead customer claim processes across multiple sites (domestic and international)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer experience, team member engagement and team performance
  • Deep knowledge of credit card products, regulations and claims management processing
  • Knowledge and understanding of fraud risk and mitigation: strategies to reduce or mitigate loss and fraud exposure
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization and develop collaborative partnerships across the enterprise
  • Experience working effectively in a global environment, where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations both domestically and internationally.  
  • Must be a collaborative leader capable of initiating action,managing change and skilled at building bridges to gain consensus.
  • A sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while making difficult decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
