AOP is looking for students with a strong desire to help and assist their peers in pursuit of academic success throughout the academic year. We are looking for students to fill the following positions:
Subject Tutor ($9.75/hr) in the following areas:
Subject Tutor Qualifications: All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better. Math tutors must complete MTH 199 by the end of Spring Term. Biology tutors must complete BIO 104, 103, 205, and 206 OR BIO 112 and 225 by the end of Spring Term. Engineering tutors must have taken ESC 101 and completed at least their sophomore year by the end of Spring Term. All other subject tutors must have taken a minimum of 4 courses in their content area by the end of Spring Term.
Tutor Coordinator ($10.50/hr) - Will coordinate the logistical aspects of the tutoring operation: sign-in sheets, documenting hours, room assignments, fill out payroll sheets, etc.
Tutor Coordinator Qualifications: All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better, and have at least sophomore standing by the end of Spring Term.
