The Learning Environments Integrator reports to the Assistant Director of Learning Environments. This position provides enterprise room management support and technical solutions for the College's learning environments infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring reliable coverage of audio-visual (A/V) support for academic classes and special events. This position provides primary technical and functional support for campus Crestron control systems and the associated integrations with cloud-based and on-premise applications. The Learning Environments Integrator collaborates with other members of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department to implement best practices in maintenance and replacement schedules of A/V and classroom/public lab computing equipment that are consistent with the College's goals. Within the scope of the responsibilities, this position installs and maintains operating system software and applications in public computing labs and classrooms as needed; works with the ITS Enterprise Systems team to schedule necessary application installs/updates through software deployment appliances; manages evaluation, integration, and deployment of enhancements to existing enterprise room management applications; and monitors/repairs classroom technology and equipment remotely, as well as in the field. The Learning Environments Integrator works with the Assistant Director of Learning Environments to conduct feasibility studies, evaluate costs, analyze user needs, and establish documentation to support new A/V and enterprise room management systems. This position is an important liaison with the user community, technical staff, and support organizations/external vendors for quick resolution of both A/V and classroom computing issues, as well as future planning. The position works and partners with all members of the ITS department to be responsive to the needs of a diverse group of users, address escalated issue reports, and participate in other projects as needed. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position (overtime eligible). Work hours are during normal business hours, which may include (limited) evenings and weekends. Qualifications: Associate degree in Applied Sciences, Computer Information Systems, Communications, or Audio Production Technologies required; Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience preferred. A combination of professional experience, coursework, and training will also be considered. A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with audio, video and projection systems required; 5+ years preferred. AVIXA CTS and Crestron programming experience required; Crestron Fusion certifications preferred. Audinate Dante Level 1 certification is desirable.
