On Saturday March 7, 2020 black women throughout the diaspora gathered at the 3rd DIASPORA DIALOGUES : INTERNATIONAL WOMEN OF POWER LUNCHEON to honor women who are shifting the culture and speaking truth to power in their chosen professions in an effort to create opportunities and increase the visibility of the contributions made by black women in film, music, fashion, tech, and philanthropy. Hollywood triple threat Yvette Nicole Brown who is an actress. writer, and producer was honored with the "WOMAN IN ENTERTAINMENT AWARD." In this interview with entertainment journalist and red carpet correspondent Tanisha LaVerne Grant she talks candidly about what it means to be a woman of power in entertainment and how streaming services have created space for diversity and inclusion in the hollywood space.
