Some key areas of expansion under consideration are environmental sociology, work and occupations, and community/urban sociology, but other areas of research concentration will be considered. In particular, we are interested in candidates with a desire to teach undergraduate sociological research methods. Further, candidates who demonstrate a commitment to service learning, social justice, and community engagement are particularly encouraged to apply.
