Spanish Bilingual Academic Designer

StudySync Academic Designers collaborate with StudySyncís in-house video production experts, technical engineers, and partner organizations, including McGraw-Hill Education, to produce the cutting-edge 6-12 English Language Arts curriculum that distinguishes the company.
Develop prototypes and project proposals, and contribute to the overall creative Development of StudySync.
Plan and develop digital content for student and teacher materials.
Coordinate with project managers, academic and other design teams, video production Specialists, web engineers, outside vendors, and partner organizations about content, Project schedules, and future development.
Demonstrate strong understanding of middle school and high school (6-12) ELA pedagogical issues, and create content that aligns with state standards and other assessment criteria.
Demonstrate strong understanding of curriculum design and instructional issues relating to English Language Learners, and create engaging, research-based content that aligns with state standards and more widely used frameworks such as WIDA, ELPS, and CA ELD.
Work with implementation, sales, and marketing team members to help insure successful use of the product in school districts around the country.
Stay current on emerging educational and curriculum trends.
Attend and/or present on relevant research issues at industry conferences.
Collaborate closely with consultants and other members of the curriculum team.
Translate texts or parts of texts from English to Spanish.
Write educational content in English and Spanish.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (required).
Demonstrated success in writing educational materials in Spanish and English.
Experience translating educational materials from English to Spanish.
Experience teaching and/or developing curriculum in middle school, high school, or college English, ESL, or related courses.
A bachelorís degree or higher in Curriculum Design or Development, English, Spanish, Professional Writing, Curriculum and Instruction, Teaching or other related field (Masterís degree preferred).
The ability to collaborate, coordinate, and build consensus in a fast-paced, web-based, deadline-driven environment.

Experience and comfort working with digital education products and other digital tools.
