Payroll Specialist II (5997)
The Payroll Specialist II processes, costs, reconciles and maintains approximately $9 million in payroll and salary time records on the Facilities Management cash account for 180 permanent personnel.
The Payroll Specialist II is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for a diverse workforce with varying negotiated union pay agreements. In addition, this position is responsible for proper records handling and retention of employee time cards and absence records as the source documentation of time worked for the employee.
He or she will be responsible for the oversight of accurate job costing into the Facilities Management CWMS system and reconciliation of job cost billing to payroll certifications. Additionally, he or she will maintain accurate leave balances of all departmental employees through pay code costing in the TMA job cost system for upload to the Banner system, or manual generation of salary time recordkeeping and leave balance updating in Banner. The Payroll Specialist II position may be assigned additional related duties and responsibilities in support of the departmentís mission and goals.

Any combination of the above totaling one year
