She spent the first ten years working in ad agencies and secular media. She has dedicated the past ten to ministry marketing. "Oh, that's not fair. See the video on Youtube where I showcase all the fav authors from Detroit. It's like saying who is your Favorite Motown Artist? You like them all - and depending on the mood - you like some more than others. My daughter loves your book though. It's the only kids book from a Detroit author she has! :) "

What made you decide to become a writer?
"I'm sure you heard of the song, "I sing because I'm happy" Well, I write because I have to express myself. I don't sing. :) But I do write - and being an "only" child growing up, I found writing to be a way to really get my thoughts and feellings out. So, I learn to put my heart on paper and I've been doing it ever since. Thanks for asking. Great question! YOU?"

Would you spend an entire day in a museum if you had the chance? If so, which one?
"Naw, Anthony, I'm not that cultured. :) I would probably spend a whole day at a bookstore though. I'd visit a museum the the MAAH - and I gravitate to the book store. I'm like an addict. :) good question. How about you? The Fish Museum in Chicago?"

Do you have a passion to educate young women today.
"Yes and I have a daughter too! But even before my daughter I always had a deep passion to tell other young ladies things my mother never tuaght or told me. So, yes - I would love to speak to young girls about careers and marriage and how to do both successfully. "

If you were banned from the United States and you have to leave today, what country would you go to live in - and why?
"I would live somewhere in the Caribbean - people are so friendly there and the weather is close to heaven! (You don't need a passport too...I have one but some of friends don't and they'd want to come and see me) See www.positivetourism.com for some great info on the Caribbean. I love the whole area - their beaches are the best! "
