My Life & Professional Aspirations:
Denise Hall (www.denisehallonline.com) is a seminary student at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. She is pursuing a master’s of divinity with an emphasis on justice and peace, and considers herself an evangelical, womynist, empirical, Universalist. Her first career is veterinary medicine where she runs Wellness Veterinary Clinic in Greeley, Colorado. The community clinic is small and is focused on wholistic practices such as acupuncture and massage. Through her veterinary work she is involved with community events to provide education and information on prevention of disease and nutrition. She has created the ministry of Mother Earth Reverence Farms that is focused on sustainable agriculture/living as a basis for healing primarily for communities of color. Currently, goats, pigs, cattle, llamas reside on the premises. We hope to incorporate aquaculture, poultry production, and specialty crops in the future. As a community steward and project weaver, Dr. Hall is the adult advisor for DRUUMM YA-YA (Diverse Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries Youth & Young Adults of Color), and Northern Plains Cluster Coordinator for the Mountain Desert District Justice Ministries.
